I’m in the busy season at my job, so while I’m a little short on energy for original content posts (though I have many swirling around my head), enjoy yet another fine link about Ms. Marvel, but really about diversity in comics and a changing society:
I couldn’t have said it better. And that’s not just a phrase – as a white woman, I’m not in the position to write this post! Which is why I seek out and share those that are in that position. I don’t mean that people in the position of power on an issue can’t write about it, but instead that those voices are easy to find, and it’s the other kind of story that’s a lot more interesting.
And I hope when I write about being a woman in comics fandom, and especially an LGBT one, people will find my voice adds something needed to the conversation.
